Xmas Cards, Silly Question

When you do your Xmas cards do you stick down the envelopes or just tuck them in? I stick them down but hubby says that I shouldn't. What do you do?

  • I stuck down the post ones and tucked the other ones in. I sooo hate the taste of envelope glue so wasn't going to suffer any more than necessary :rotfl:
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

I must admit that I only send Christmas Cards to those people that I will not see at Christmas - I can 'speak' a happy Christmas to the others! Anythign that I send in the post, though I stick down.

a woman at the Post Office told my mum they prefer it if they are stuck down, must be to stop the cards (and any money inside!) getting pinched.
I usually just tuck them in for people I am handing them to, and lick and stick the ones that get posted.

or the fact that the machines get the loose flaps caught in them would be nothing to do with it?
no we all sit in a big room rifling through the half dozen cards that come through
