I know, i was the same with my last one but i went to bed the night before i was induced and i hugged my bump because i knew it wouldnt be long until i was holding her in my arms, i know it would be my last baby and it was sad saying goodbye to the pregnancy, god i sound loony. Your little one is staying in because your such a good mummy keeping them warm comfy and well fed, if i had the option id stay in there too warmer than out here!!!!!

Good luck Pips mum. Don't worry everything will be alright. It's your hormones that are making you very sensitive. First babies tend to be late. All the best.Official DFW Member no:4100

I have been sorting out my bag and popped to Tescos for a few bits to take. REALLY, REALLY freaking out now. Have convinced myself something is wrong with Pip thats why they havent come naturally and have spent most of the day sobbing! Ive got to wait all day tomorrow too as I do not go into hospital until 9.30pm. Trying to not think about it all and keep happy.

Please don't let your mind run away with thoughts of awful things PM, the medics would have told you by now if things weren't right with the little one. Keep focused on holding your precious baby after it's all over. You'll have amazing staff with you all the time, caring for you through every step of the way. Cheer up and look ahead to that delightful bundle you'll very soon be holding, it's all so very, very worth it ....you'll see.

hiya, please dont worry that there is something wrong, all will be fine you'll see. most first babies are late, and if you think about it, they only really guess when the baby will arrive.
good luck for tonight, and dont worry, the being induced bit is really quick and painless (uncomfortable at the most) a little gel is put at the neck of the cervix and thats it for 12 hours or so. if you have had a show thats prob all you need to get you going.
one last piece of advice, remember to breathe!!!!!! pain is alot worse when you try to hold your breath through it!!!!
good luck hun, thinking of you,
