A few of the items are in stock online at the reduced prices but it is not obvious they are reduced. They just quote the new price and not the original price.0

I don't know whether any one else has noticed that the ELC sales are not as good as they used to be.
When my daughter was young lots of things just after Christmas would be half price - but still now some items are still only 30%. they are very slow to reduce. Puts you off buying!!!!

I agree. The offers before Christmas weren't as good this year either. You were better off going to the concession of ELC in Debenhams or to Boots who do some of their products.0

Good point, 2 of the Debs near me have stopped their ELC concessions. However they still have ELC stock they are selling off. For example I managed to pick up a keyboard (http://www.elc.co.uk/toy-32524) for "half-price" at around £17.
The ELC store just round the corner from one of them were still selling the keyboard at full price, so I was semi-tempted to buy two from Debs, and exchange one (without receipt) for double what I paid in vouchers at ELC. However morals qualms prevented me from doing this (well SWMBO telling me it was wrong), so I just grabbed the one half price keyboard I needed.

When did you buy this one. looks like a good offer. Debenhams had some other ELC stuff left. Our local one is new but only sells toys at Christmas.RufusA wrote:Good point, 2 of the Debs near me have stopped their ELC concessions. However they still have ELC stock they are selling off. My dad today picked up a battery powered tain for the wooden sets for £8 (was £15)in the Debenhams ELC and yet in the shop its still selling for £12.
What is going on?
I love ELC toys but feel ripped off especially if you can get the same item cheaper in the Debenhams. I love Debenhams at the moment and have picked up loads of bargins in the last week or so for only a £1. For every bargin though we are getting ripped off! 0 -
Debenhams Inverness are selling the ELC wooden castle for £12 instead of £40 - fab buy for next ChristmasJoined slimming world Feb 2010
