I have just had to replace a washing machine, as my old one worn out.
I researched the internet and decided to purchase a Zanussi machine.
Using all the shopbots, I found my machine was cheapest from a company call Pixmania.com. Having bought it, it was delivered 2 days later. To date I have had np roblems with it, it works perfectly.
Pixmania.com are in fact an online outlet for the high street chain Curry's, PC world, Dixon's etc.
Their prices are much cheaper than the high street and deliver was quicker too. I reckon I saved at least £100 on my new machine.
I am not connected to the company in anyway, save to say a v. satisfied customer.
happy shopping

I'm glad it worked out for you and hope any problems in the future, if there are any, will be dealt with in a similarly satisfactory manner.
Some others have not been so lucky

Pixmania aren't part of the DSGi group (Currys, Dixons, PC World), or part of Comet etc.
They are another company based in France and it has become common knowledge that their after-sales service is absolutely dire. Returning items is expensive (to France) and it's hard to claim on their warranty.
Info off their website:Pixmania wrote:1) THE LOWEST PRICES
Unbeatable prices on photo, video and sound
Pixmania.com is an affiliate of the FOTOVISTA group, which relies on 30 years of experience in the imaging business. Thanks to the close relationship that we maintain with our suppliers, Pixmania.com is able to offer the best prices on the biggest name brands.

Absolutely no affiliation with the DSGi group, as you wrongly indicated. I truly hope you had a good buy and nothing will go wrong with the machine.Student Moneysaving Expert :beer:0 -

Glad you got a bargain but personally I wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot bargepole absolutely terrible customer service from what I have seen on net

They are registered to Fotovista. DSGi (Currys, Dixons) have a 75% interest in them http://whois.domaintools.com/pixmania.com

They are renowned for sending grey goods without any UK manuals0 -
Oh!
I didn't know they had a bad reputation. Still I suppose most shop will have some unsatisfied customers. I just hope I will not be one of them.

I ordered a hd ready tv from pixmania. Delivery was on time, so I had no need to speak to customer services. Have just set the tv up for my son, and it seem absolutely fine. Manual was written in French and English, and was a lot clearer than some English manuals that I have seen. It came with a 2pin plug, but they had put an adaptor in the box to change it over to 3 pin. The adaptor is really easy. Open it up with one screw, pop the 2pin plug in, as if laying a baby in it's cot, and screw it back up. Safe and secure. I know this company have had bad review, but I can only comment on my particular situation. On this experience, I would definitely use them again. We could all learn a little something from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.0

Just out of intrest does the 2 pin plug have an earth connection that the adapter connects to. If not you have a metal case with no earth i.e. unsafe0 -
