Amazon price reduction???

Sorry if this is in the wrong place - I wasn't sure where to post.

I remember reading something about how Amazon would refund the difference if you bought something from them and then they reduced their price within a month or so.

I've just ordered a game a couple of days ago - it still hasn't been dispatched but is 'preparing' for dispatch so I can't cancel it - but they've reduced the price since I ordered. I've looked on their site but I can't find the relevant bit (I guess it's well hidden). Can anyone point me to it please?

    They don't do that anymore.

 Isn't that just bloomin' typical?!!!!

I'd cancel and re-order except it is showing as preparing for dispatch and cannot be cancelled!

Email them & ask for it to be cancelled.
I did this a few days ago on an order that was preparing for dispatch. In my case I was reordering it using free next day Amazon Prime delivery (rather than super-saver). I also added a £2.50 discount voucher that had been refunded to me from a previous order they had cancelled.

It seems orders enter the 'preparing for dispatch' phase extremely quickly nowadays - mine took ~2minutes, meaning their automated cancellation mechanism is all but useless.
