This is a wonderful find, and a great way to print out cheap, stylish posters to fill a wall space, you can simply upload them from any of your photos and add an effect to become your own Andy Warhol. (though i wouldn't bother with the ones of me - im sure you've some which won't have broken the camera). On to MoneySaver SRA to explain.....

This site's been going for a while and I can't believe I've never heard of it!
Link (yes that really is its name!)
If you can spare the ink, you can make Giant Posters to be printed out on A4 paper. They have a downloadable version if the site gets slow.
Have a look at the fantastic gallery of what others have done
(Wansn't threre someone round here who liked Johnny Depp? Can't remember
After you've uploaded your image, you'll be given a pdf with all the sheets of paper to make up your image.
I was using the logo to experiment. Here are 4 of the A4 sheets that would make up the MSE loge (viewed in my pdf reader):

but I don't think I want a Giant Martin on my wall

Do you have .net framework installed? you need it.
The standalone version doesn't install to your computer. It runs from the folder you extracted to just by clicking the .exe icon.
The standalone version isn't even close to being as good as the online version anyway.

I just click to open the file and expect everything to work

I'll post mine in a shortwhile if I can successfully figure out
I looked at the gallery - your color scheme and specially the way you've managed to make a collage is fascinating than most - class!
And whose picture adorns your wall?

You've done a lot of work on that one. I wish I could do a collage but it's hardwork of several copying and pasting and screenshooting.sra wrote:Well it ain't Martin Lewis
If I'd actually printed out the one I made above it would've taken up half a wall
I wanted to post a bunch of roses saying thankyou - but my bunch don't look like roses after conversion to dots
so I'm looking for a womans' picture for you
not me though - I don't want you to have nightmares
O dear, I need to see what's come out of it and will be back in a while0 -

I've been trying a close up of just the face - but the site is giving me problems - so settling for this
sra, how did you manage those borders?
They aren't borders.
I set it to put the image on 16 A4 pages and, as you know, the site gives you a pdf at the end.
So I opened up the the pdf in foxit pdf reader and it displayed all the pages. I set the pdf reader to show 2 in each row and then I just took a screenshot of the top 4.
No thought went into it, it was just a quick screenshot of display in the pdf0 -
Yours is perfect - no point me birdbrain aiming to create one such
Guess what I finally managed the face
must have been the file being a big one that gave me the problems
But why is Martin looking better than Estella - is it his sharp features or your genuis
Gorgeous Estella does not have that personality in my creation *insert an apologetic smilie here*
