Cash Converters - Buy Back scheme? (your advice is needed!)

First of all, I hope I've posted this in the right sub forum, as there are like a billion to choose from! I've read that Cash Converters help you with debt troubles, so went with the appropriately named, ''Debt Free Wannabe''

To my situation. I've never been to Cash Converters, and am planning on giving them my mp3 player tomorrow, in the hope they can give me a decent amount of cash for it. Then, once I've used the cash for the means I'm borrowing it, I buy my mp3 player back before the period of agreement expires. I've read the website, and to be honest, didn't find it helpful, as they didn't deal in time and figures.
I'd appreciate it if anyone who has participated in this scheme, can brief me in to how they operate.
What is the fee for their service? (something they don't go into on the website)
Do they give you the cash on the day they value and accept the goods, or is it a cheque? (again, not on the website)
Also, is their a level of interest charged per day/week for the period of this agreement, or is it just the one off charge?
Do I have to produce receipts and pack my player in the original box I brought it in, or can I just hand them the mp3 player in it's rawest form!
Any and all help is appreciated money savers!

There was a thread on this a few days ago.
From what I recall, it is a set figure you have to repay in a specified time and I think to get most money, it should be in good condition and in box etc.
Will see if I can find the thread.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
