I took the offer of getting my credit report from creditexpert.co.uk and i have some questions some people maybe able to anwser.
1. I have a 20k loan with my bank why does this not appear? I am still paying this.
2. I have the following
Name and address: MR PHIL XXX
*******************
Date of birth: 21 *** 19**
Company name: ORANGE PCS
Account type: Communications
FCS Flag: FCS Disconnected
Started: 19/12/2002
Default Balance: £69
Current Balance: £69
Defaulted On: 22/08/2005
File updated for period to: 11/12/2005
Status History:
(brackets indicate most recent status) [8]
Now according to the guide the 8 stands for - The account is defaulted. You have failed to keep to your credit agreement and have not responded satisfactorily to requests to put your account in order. As a result the credit agreement has ended
But i have no knowledge of this account. What does FCS Disconnected mean? I moved from the address in 2003.
3. I have about 9k of old credit card which have been settled on there. Should they still be on there? below is an example
Name and address: MR PHILIP ***
****
Date of birth: 22 *** ****
Company name: CITIFINANCIAL EUROPE PLC
Account type: Credit Card / Store Card

Current Balance: Settled
Credit Limit: £2,900
Settled On: 19/01/2004
File updated for period to: 08/02/2004
Status History:
(brackets indicate most recent status) [0]
Summary of Payment History: In last 36 months, number of status 1-2 is: 1 number of status 3+ is: 0
Thanks in advance for any guideance / advise.

2) You had a mobile phone and the contract was cancelled because you didn't pay the bill. The account has defaulted because you didn't pay your mobile phone bill.
3) Yes. Basically everything stays on your account for 6 years.0 -

If you haven't had the loan long, then your lender may not yet have updated the CRA's with the information. This can take 2-3 months or longer.phil999 wrote:What does FCS Disconnected mean?
1. E-mail Experian with your question(s) from their website - all you need is your report number.
2. Ring and ask Experian - 0800 6569000
3. Search https://www.google.co.uk0 -
I too have a loan and mortgage with natwest that don't show on my credit report. i read somewhere that NatWest don't report these to the credit agencies unless there are missed payments etc so if your loan is with NatWest that could be why it doesn't show up.0
