If a person places their name on the "rolling" electoral register, how long is it before their CRF is updated?

If your local council gets your application form before close of business on the dates shown in the first column below then your application is subject to a 5 day public inspection period, during which anyone can object to an application.

If no objection is received by then your details will be added/changed on the date shown in the indented 2nd column:

    Monday 13 March 2006
(Incidentally this is the deadline for applications to be registered to vote in the event of Council elections on 4 May 2006)
    Monday 3 April 2006
    Friday 7 April 2006
    Tuesday 2 May 2006
    Thursday 11 May 2006
    Thursday 1 June 2006
    Monday 12 June 2006
    Monday 3 July 2006
    Tuesday 11 July 2006
    Tuesday 1 August 2006
    Friday 11 August 2006
    Friday 1 September 2006

There is no monthly update during September, October or November during the annual canvass period. A new Register is published on 1 December.

The Credit Reference firms are sent the list of additions once they take effect each month, although I do not know how quickly they update their records.

So, the best i can hope for is 3rd July?

Will NOT being on register seriously hamper my chances of my mortgage being approved?

I am paying council tax/water/elec/gas/at my current (short term rented) address.

TIA, starting to stress on this one now!
