HIFX or MONEYCORP???

Can anyone help?

I am about to emigrate to New Zealand and am transfering around £20000.
I am registered with both HIFX and Moneycorp but am undecided which company to use.

Has anyone had dealings with either company and were there any problems?

I am thinking that i should use HIFX but would appreciate any advice on either co.

Thanks.

Go to Large International Money Transfers Discussion area thread and search it for hifx or moneycorp . Not a lot of information on the latter one, but you will find some information on the HIFX, for example, my post #34 with collection of links.

You will find more informations if you search all forums.

I opened an account with Moneycorp when I wanted to transfer £7000 to Mexico, I arranged the transaction after the guy I spoke to beat the best rate I had found elsewhere, but whilst I was in the process of transferring the money to their bank account, I received a phone call to says that they would only do a minimum transfer of £10000, so I ended up using isxfx. Although I had to send some money in December and I coud not contact isxfx by phone or email.
  • I opened an account with several and decided to go with Moneycorp because they're the only ISO accredited company so they have to do what they say they do as they are regulated.

i quite liked the dealers too, they explained everything to me and didn't talk down to me. I got the impression with other companies that i was more of an inconveniece rather than a valued client. And most importantly they transferred my money on the same day and it reached America on the same day too so all round an excellent service.

I also just heard that RBS have invested in them so that eased my security issues.
