How Do I

Find out where our local market has moved to? I was told the last time I went there that they were moving twice before they hit their final resting place but that was about two months ago and now I don't know where they've gone. Do I ring the local council or is there any kind person who reads this, comes from Gloucester and can tell me where the market that was next to Tesco in St Oswalds road now is?

  • Have you tried your council web site? I know mine has a list of all markets in the area.

Thanks but the council website is very contradictory, on one page it says that they are still at the cattle market but on another they say they are leaving this site at the end of 2005. At this rate I could end up chasing round Gloucester hunting for the market :(

It's tucked away behind Tesco now, you have to drive right down to the bottom of the horrible bumpy road, there's a horrible bumpy car park on the left that also does the park and ride. My friends have a market stall there, I'm sure they said it's moving again soon

That was the one I last went to Troo, it's still there for now then? Thanks so much. I will head down this week then as I need some meat.

I'll see them in the next couple of days, I'll ask them if they know when they're moving.
