Best deal for batteries?

Father Christmas is bringing toys that require (bloody) batteries.So need to buy yet more, usually from boots. i usually buy rechargeable, but we always seem to run out of them.:think: . Where can i buy decent, reasonably priced rechargeable batteries from? or should i buy the disposable ones?Thanks

i usually get my rechargeables from lidl when they have them on offer i dont think there's any at the min, but it'sworth keeping an eye out they are usually £1.99 per pack

I usually go to either Poundland or Home Bargains for cheap (but decent quality) disposable ones. I got a pack of twelve Kodak AA's in Poundland for a quid last week which as I've got two kids will probably all be gone by Boxing Day!

I was at Aldi in SE London yesterday and they had all sizes of rechargeable batteries for £1.99 by the checkout counter. They don't have a special weekly shop on it as far as I know, probably leftover from the previous special.

I bought one of the uniross sprint battery chargers. Takes about an hour to charge AA batteries. It cost a little more, but it's very quick and I don't have to own as many batteries because of this. You do (aparently) have to buy good quality batteries that can cope with being recharged so fast, which I have done so far as I'm worried cheaper ones will fail or leak.

Anyway, it's good being able to recharge my batteries faster than I could go to the shop and buy another packet.
