Looks as though us 'southerners' are in the majority so far. :rotfl: :rotfl:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Here's a variation on a theme for yous.
I'm a Manc but wandered over to Germany in the early 80's. Did all my debt building there. Had troubles, as we all have done, and returned to the UK in May last year to work. Didn't go so well and had to BR in December 07. EU Law dictates that the place of recent residency determines which court is responsible for processing the BR - I had german debts but HAD to go BR in England. I haven't heard from my OR since the BR because the poor sod had to write to my creditors in Berlin and Hamburg. Which language they wrote back in I do not know and now do not care as I get an AD tonight. 19th of December. I can't wait for what the insolvency website shows in the morning.
