Thorntons: Cards and giftwrap

My local Thorntons chocolate shop (Redcar) is having a huge clear out. A big selection of birthday cards are reduced to 20p each (poster says 5 for £1, but SA said I didnt need to buy 5). Also, they had packs of party invitations, ribbon, place settings, birth announcements, and even sellotape, reduced to 10p per item. SA said its happening at all Thorntons that incorporate Birthdays (card shop).

And i was amused josey after looking at the weight watchers bit.What are you doing looking at a thorntons post!! Did you nearly stumble?? ..only joking, i have a lot of admiration for you going to weightwatchers, hope you do well. wish i could do something about my tum!..too much chocolate.

I assume its a Thorntons shop with a Birthdays franchise. The main sign outside says Thorntons, and there is a teeny Birthdays logo in the corner.

They had loads of chocs reduced too, but (like everyone else), I am on my January diet!
