my husband is trying to get it on dvd, i think it is an acquired taste!! he also likes the programme with steve coogan in where he is a leather jacket clad biker!! says it all xxx

Well your memory is wrong. It was far better than the crap we get masquerading as comedy these day.
Maybe the op should ask channel 4. Surely they would have a better idea?

I remember Chelmsford 123, a much under-rated comedy. Shame that its never been officially released cos I'd fancy a set myself.
