Sperm Donation

Hi,

I want to donate sperm for some extra cash. Does anyone know where I can do this?

Thanks.

P.S. Please please please don't say anything about the loss of sperm donors anonymity recently. I am ABSOLUTELY 100% familiar with the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act of 2007 and its implications for sperm donors.

No wonder no one wants to do it if you don't get paid anything!

But what about blood donation? No-one gets paid for that in the UK but plenty of people do it....

My reasoning is, and this is 100% personal, with blood donation there's not even the potential for them to knock at your door in 18 years time saying 'Daddy!!'

I know some people are gonna disagree with that but that's why I'd give blood but not sperm!!

In fact you may able to claim expenses e.g travel / loss of earnings. Some centres have a fixed expenses rate for a course of donations; you don't do one-off donations and may have to wait for part or all of the expenses until after the quarantine period.

Best bet is to look at the website for your nearest major hospital /private fertility treatment centre.

I saw an advert in the back of one of my women's mags last month I think - sorry I can't remember which one :o something along the lines of Glamour or something, where they have the adult phone line adverts as well.

Alternatively, just do a search on google for 'sperm donation' and make sure you are using the .co.uk version and searching in the UK - I know there are couple of places that pay for it in London, I think it's £15 a pop, (can't remember exactly where - look for IVF clinics as well as sperm donation if you don't have much luck with that - even if they don't do sperm deposits, they might be able to tell you where does....) but don't know anywhere else in the country, sorry.
Good luck and good on you for still wanting to do it :)
