Selotape for 1p at Tescos

Just been to Tesco to get selotape for parcels. The 'Scotch Easy Tear tape' 25mm x 50mm in a clear and red packet was priced at 59p. The label on the shelf also stated 'Discontinued' When going through the checkout the price charged was 1p. Needless to say I went back and bought another 20 - can't have too much selotape!.
Not sure if this would just be in my Tesco - Kingston Park, Newcastle - or nationally. Worth a try though.

My local branch had bars of chocolate organic/fair trade, yellow sel £1.99(exp 3/1/06)-scans at £2.49.This was in the organic section, also fruit bars(multi packs) in the same section with similar exp date sel also scanning over,i didnt take either(long eaton) could be worth a look in your local extra though.

Had some in my local store, had to get confirmation from the manager before they were willing to sell them for 1p each.

Tesco Extra Stockton/Durham Road has a few rolls, located with other sellotapes and tape strips. Shelf tag says 59p but they scan at 1p.

I got 22 from Long Eaton.they were on the clearance shelf(end of duvets/pillows aisle).There is STILL plenty left,many thanks for this.

Is this the one in the centre (near ASDA) or the branch on the outskirts ? (Toton/Chilwell?)
