Selotape for 1p at Tescos

Just been to Tesco to get selotape for parcels. The 'Scotch Easy Tear tape' 25mm x 50mm in a clear and red packet was priced at 59p. The label on the shelf also stated 'Discontinued' When going through the checkout the price charged was 1p. Needless to say I went back and bought another 20 - can't have too much selotape!.
Not sure if this would just be in my Tesco - Kingston Park, Newcastle - or nationally. Worth a try though.

My local branch had bars of chocolate organic/fair trade, yellow sel £1.99(exp 3/1/06)-scans at £2.49.This was in the organic section, also fruit bars(multi packs) in the same section with similar exp date sel also scanning over,i didnt take either(long eaton) could be worth a look in your local extra though.

Tesco Extra Stockton/Durham Road has a few rolls, located with other sellotapes and tape strips. Shelf tag says 59p but they scan at 1p.0

I got 22 from Long Eaton.they were on the clearance shelf(end of duvets/pillows aisle).There is STILL plenty left,many thanks for this.0
