Not sure if this is in the right category but how do I go about checking my tax code? We all seem to have different ones at work
Thanks.

Everyone has a personal tax free allowance of 6035 in the current year. You take off the final digit and add an L, giving a code of 603L. If your code is different to this, you really need to ring your tax office and ask them to explain as there are a thousand permutations depending on whether you claim expenses or have untaxed income or an underpayment of tax to be collected.£705,000 raised by client groups in the past 18 mths :beer:0

You should have a PAYE coding notice which will tell you any variations from the basic allowance that apply to you, looks like this.....
