Hi Phil. How are you today? My daughters back from Manchester and we are having a curry tonight and beer (in house) I have at last received a payment and conformation letter from the DWP. I can now send off for my discount on fees. The OR office has asked me to sign some papers and forward the accounts and other bit's and bobs. I caaled the electric co and they have wiped out the debt, however they say they may owe me money which will have to go to the OR Boo hiss. They are not quite sure of this as yet, ah well never mind.;)

I'm good thank you..hope you are well? you certainly sound better....had a rough night though last night big bro came over for his birthday & well...be rude not to go for a few beers would it?....although GOD ALONE knows what I had to eat last night tastes like something really bad has diesd in my mouth! :eek:

(although suffering today though....cant drink & take all the mountain of tabs as well aghhh!!!)

Sounds like a good night...my 2 favorite things in life Beer & Curry!! (although cant really have either now because of this stupid diet i'm on...last night dont count!) sounds like everything is going well then? now you've got benefits proof the courts will be pretty quick issuing a refund on the fees...Hmm shame about the electric....could you not have said give me the money then & i'll hand deliver it to the OR myself :rotfl:

Well, after they have beaten Fulham to day I reckon 1 - 0 on Weds..... no bother!

Sunday 8th March...9 days to go :j

Well under double figures at last. Thought it would be ages to get here but the time has flown by.

Plan to double check my forms on Tuesday morning and then submit and print that afternoon. Hope the site is up and running that day :rolleyes:

Had another call from Cap one and again refused to confirm DOB. To say she was confused would be an understatement but , as I explained, I am quite happy to liase in writing but I am not in the habit of divulging personnal info over the phone to people who call me. She said OK then we will call every day to which I replied "Then I will give the same answer every day". I actually feel less stressed answering the calls like this than ignoring them but that is my personnal preference and would not advocate that this is for everbody. Depends on how you feel. I have had less calls at work as well since I have been answering so hopefully that will continue.

I seem to have lost track of my league table so do apologise for that but at a rough guess I would say Cap 1 have been the most persistant and poor old EGG must be sitting on it as I have not heard a word from them.

Have a lovely Sunday and I have an Aunt Bessies Sunday dinner when I finish work. Really must pop onto the OS board more

Re the calls from Capital one, I have had similar situations in the past, so much so that even after they had called my mobile phone and my husband had said this was no longer her number. They said that they would keep calling until they had spoken to me and I could confirm to them it was not my number???? How could I have done that if I was not my number any more? What if my number had been redistributed to someone else not connected, that poor person would be getting calls non stop and could do nothing about it!They told my husband that there was no way they would stop calling this number. They even rang my old place of work two years after I had left every week, even after my ex colleague and friend had said she had not worked here for two years!!!! They are scum.

Egg also nothing with me, that was one of my biggest debts too. They still wrote to me occasionally offering new services and offers but never an actual letter chasing my debt or responding to my letters explaining my situation at all.

It is quite laughable that all credtors give the blurb on their monthly statements "if you are having trouble making payments, call us blah blah" but when you actually are in that situation, they coould not care less and ignore your letters, and just call you constantly.

Anyway not long for you now, and you can tell them to do the other.:T

I cannot believe how few days you have left now.... brill ! :T

Aunt Bessie providing your lunch huh, exciting.... :rolleyes: I cooked a gammon joint in my slow cooker yesterday and that lasts 3 days, wonderful,yummy, and excellent value.

Sorry you have to work today, it is a lovely day here. You should be out playing golf on a day like this!

Yeah I would much rather be on the golf course today Thing is I should have been off but what with sickness etc I have had to come in 2 days early :rolleyes: but it does give me next weekend off ATM.
