If thats the case then they should take a leaf out of T K Maxx's book, They will exchange or refund anything that was purchased as far back as October, and they will do this up until 31st January0 -
cheers for answers they said that it was excluded from the 16 day returns and could not do anything for me, this is contrary to a few things i've read on the site, they must be tightening up after xmas, some said they would exchange up to 30 days but this is their get out clause thanks all MSN's0

ipods are excluded from the 16 day money back guarantee due to hygiene reasons with the headphones.0

Have you unsealed the iPod? It is much easier to tempt Argos to listen to your plea if it is 100% clear the iPod has not been touched, especially if you point out all you want is a different iPod in their catalogue (Assuming you wanted to purchase the upgraded model from Argos).0

Its actually because of the fact data can be stored on the hard drive.
Cant be resold etc, same reason cameras and phoens are excluded.
Some stores vary, i.e. if its obviously sealed and unopened they will sometimes accept it back its all up to managers discretion tho.0 -
I bought a digital camera as a xmas gift from Argos and they explained that it was excluded from the 16 day money back guarantee. However, they also said it could be exchanged provided it hadn't been used (I guess they would be able to tell if it had been), which to me seems pretty fair.0
