in Cutting tax
i was just wondering about the tax bands i know the cut offs.
it just seems like its not worth taking a pay rise then is it ?? If it puts you into a higher tax band .
what im trying to ask ,you could be given a pay rise but then that would leave you with less in some cases right??? if your on the cut off point.

No it's not right.
You only pay tax at the higher rate on the amount you are into the higher rate not the whole amount.0
