Please please please can I remind MSEers to respect the board rules for posting on the Shop But Dont Drop forum. There is a sticky at the top of this forum that says what should be posted here (althought the title of the Board gives a big clue!)
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=24286
I have a few minutes to see if there are any shopping items of interest to me and have been sidetracked by worrying if someones sofa is too big for their front door and should it come in via the window, someone elses questions about colonic irrigation (yikes!!), and whether someone else is paying too much for her Virgin Media subscriptions.
All of these threads have a place on this site, but it aint on the Shop But Dont Drop Forum!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dont just post on the boards that you use most because you know lots of people will see them. Have a look at soem of the other forums first and remember if it isnt a SHOP BUT DONT DROP it doesnt belong here!
PS Merry Christmas!

I'm not brave enough to post this twice! Risking the wrath of too many MSEers!“All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.” Charles M Schulz0

ask one of the board guides to post it on Grabbit, after all they are meant to be keeping threads and posts within the rules and/or guidelines.
Grabbit has gone just the same way as you mention here about Shop but don't drop and it's so annoying as it makes it difficult to spot the real grabbit quick bargains amongst all the incorrectly placed threads.

You know what's gonna happen - saintscouple will move this post as it isn't a SBDD item!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously, he/she is doing a valient job but fighting a losing battle.
All the newbies joining don't have time (or inclination) to read stickies which is why we get so many wrong posts on here.
It's been said before (so I'll say it again) why not require newbies to undergo a period of 'learning' before allowing them to post?0 -
I think it would be very useful to have to go through a training video or something that explains the wide range of boards there are to choose from.
I fully understand that we dont all know the intricacies of every thread and board, but I really think it is rude and lazy to post whatever you like on a board whose title is pretty self-explanatory!“All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.” Charles M Schulz0
