Luc hun do you have a rash on your abdomen or anything like that?
there are a couple of things that cause your symptoms, not dangerous for you or bean but can drive you crazy with itching and need cream/lotion stuff.

Luc, I dont think it sounds like depression. I initially thought your symptoms sounded fluey

I agree with Daph that you need to be seen. I know the doc is happy that the baby is OK, but his/her mummy clearly isnt. It isnt a matter of causing a fuss ;)

I had to read that twice - what on earth are USB Slippers:eek:

They are slippers that you plug into the comp and they warm your feet up:D

His feet are always freezing in the office and he puts the whole central heating on just to warm his toes up:rolleyes:

Luc - good luck and i hope you get the docs to see you. I'd not be happy about the itchy thing so mention this first when you see your doctor.

The other thing I'd be tempted to do if I wasn't getting satisfaction at the GP surgery is to phone your hospital antenatal clinic and speak to a midwife there and see if they can see you a bit sooner or give you some reassurance.

Little tale: I was doing some reading about raspberry leaf and how it supposedly shortens labour so I saw my boss (he's a senior lecturer in Obstetrics & Gynaecology) about it because I couldn't find any definitive "take it from X weeks" and he shot my plan to flames saying there was no evidence at all that it worked so unless I liked the taste not to bother!

  • Lucifa73 I had my kids at RAH and I was very ill with my second at 27 weeks. I called the midewifes at the hospital and they told me to go straight up. Turned out it was nothing to do with the baby but they kept me in overnight and looked after me very well. I am sure they would tell you to come in for a check up if you called. GPs are a nightmare at times. I hope you feel better soon.

My GP is useless, i can only book an appointment on the day i want to see a doctor and if i want an afternoon appointment i have to book it a week in advance. Must remember to consult mystic meg to know if i'll be ill next week, hehe.
