I've written about 20 and I think I've earned about ten bucks.. in two years.
Cheeky !!!!ers send me emails telling me I can earn hundreds of dollars for work.
But that's not to say it wouldn't work for some. it's just not my bag and I'd be very careful about taking part as they refuse to let you close your account once you've started posting work.0 -

Hi - this is my first post :T
I was just wondering for those of you that are making money from these surveys etc, how you have done your self employment bit with NI and Tax contributions. Do you make enough to pay any tax??
Many thanks for you advice in advance!0 -

The simplest jobs entail logging onto a specific website and searching for items to buy (for instance Kays catalogue). You also have to send an email and telephone customer services then you answer specific questions in the survey that has been emailed to you. A basic website survey pays £3.50-£4 and you will often have the option to buy an item (typically a £6 fee) and return it for a refund (typically a £5 fee) so you could earn £15 or more per job. Obviously the better you are at giving your opinion of the site, the more jobs you will get.
You do have to wait for them to send you a contract to sign before you can start, but this is by far the best kind of mystery shopping job.

Thanks for this info... but I can't get to where to sign up?!? It says:
"Sorry that page is not available. Please visit the homepage and try again, or contact us if there is a problem."
EDIT: Sorry! Found it now

Great! You do have to actually apply and it's a bit long-winded but worth it in the end. I just earned £25 for doing 4 surveys of 4 different comparison websites.
Oh and yes, you do have to keep your own records and declare what you earn to the tax man. I'm not sure about NI as I'm exempt.0 -
That sounds brilliant.
Can you count me in.

Hi guys,
I am a very mature student of almost 50 (yes I will be 50 in about 4 weeks!).
I am at full time University and subject to all the usual cant get loans and finance stuff. I was a nurse for a long time til illness struck but now I am over all that and halfway through my honours degree in Bioscience, but as I have not worked for a few years (almost 7, I think) its difficult getting part time work. I have tried all the usual surveys and stuff like that but I usua;;y dont fall into the correct category that they want to enable me to earn anything remotely useful. I can do some shifts at the local hospital as an auxilliary nurse, but that is so tiring and time consuming it hinders on my study time.
Im always wary of any web thing that asks for cash up front no matter how small ........ but I have seen a lot of ads for google blogs and similar? Are they just another con?
Is there anything on the web out there that I can do on flexi time that will earn me something reasonable??
So far I havent been able to find anything that either works or pays enough to make it worthwhile. As far as these sites where you mindlessly click websites ....... I just cant do those!
I am not afraid of hard work.... I just need something I can do from home... if something like that exists!
Hope someone has some ideas for me... thanks in advance
Mags:)

If you want to work at the comfort of your own home, you can try blogging. you can search on how to monetize your blog, and you'll find lots of different ways to do it. It would involve a lot of hard work in front of your computer, but at least you need not leave your house.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
