Just bought one for my daughter . 128mb, about 6 cds, it's own little rechargeable battery which recharged from the USB on your computer. Separate additional battery pod for AA. Seemed a nice little thing. No idea how it works, but I am sure you can take it back. About the size of a fun size twix

Not a good price, you can get others with lcd screen for about £25... Albeit that won't be a philips, but who cares...?No reliance should be placed on the above.0 -

This one at Aldi http://uk.aldi.com/special_buys/product_502.html from Thursday is worth having if your budget won't stretch past £40.
Bubba Junior has one (bought earlier in the year when it was £49.99) and he loves it. Memory can be expanded with the addition of extra SD/MMC cards which slot in, so the storage capacity is limited only by how many cards you have/buy.0
