Hi All
Not sure if im posting this in the right place!
Just wondered if anybody else had any problems with Motor Depot and their warranties that are not worth the paper they are wriiten on! To cut a long story short my hubby bought me my dream car as a 40th birthday pressie. After about 2 wks we noticed a clunking noise when changing gear so we took it back in and they adjusted the linkage. A couple of months later we lost fifth gear altogether and now they are trying to wangle out of the warranty claiming its wear and tear. I had done very little mileage and not owned the car for very long and they are trying to tell me is going to cost over a grand to fix. The car is on finance and i have paid £150 for an independent engineer to inspect it. He has done a report and it clearly states that its mechanical failure but Motor depot and still arguing and the finance co are saying they are unable to assist me further. It looks like my next step will be court action. I have had to hire a car for 6 wks and im still now closer getting my car back. Anyone had a similar experience or can give me some advice plz.
