Can anybody advise me on the best and cheapest site to go to in order to set up a Ltd Company and also how to go about registering a website address?

Go Direct to companies house is the cheapest way at £20 see this article http://www.startups.co.uk/Yb62e40.html don't get the same day service as they charge £80 for that. Or you can use a number of companies who will do it for you around £70, think this is a bit of a con when you can do it yourself!

For web hosting try http://www.redstation.com/domains.html for .co.uk they give you a years free hosting and its easy to use £3.95 for the name and free hosting. Or a .com @ £9.95 you also get a years free hosting.

we needed to register another ltd company and used an online service for the first time.

we used this site http://www.quickformations.com/services.qmd#pack4 and it was quick and reliable with a good choice pf packages.

the prices given for redstation look good, but a good, cheap, reputable alternative is www.123reg.co.uk to buy domain names
