Christmas present for my mum

Hiya,

I would be very grateful if anyone could offer me some help.

I need to go out and buy my mum a whole bunch of new presents, she has just being diagnosed at the doctors with having dangerously high levels of fat content, and cholostral too.

So that means she is not allowed any chocolate, or nice food/

I had orginally brought her some chocolates and pizza express vouchers, but she cant use that now.........

I normally spend around £100 on her

I was thinking of getting her some flowers, but what else??

Any ideas would be fab

She likes doing her garden and allotment, family means a lot to her.

Thanks in advance

  • Your Mum doesn't have to miss out on nice food. Did the Doctor give her any information or leaflets about her future diet.

Have you got a good health food shop in your area? They will be able to give you very helpful advice

Swedish Glace is a type of icecream based on soya and is low in chlosteral, and is really nice. There is vanilla and chocolate flavoured.

A Garden Centre will give you lots of ideas, plants, seeds, books and tools. Manufacturers are producing some very lightweight and 'girlie' looking tools.

:confused:This one sounds hard if she is not allowed lovely christmas food stuff!

Why dont you make up a healthy food hamper , with low fat low calories foods , snack a jacks and the likes..

A photo frame with pictures of her children or granchildren or any one else close to her.
If she has a computer get a personalized mouse mat from asdas with a pic of the kids or grankids ect.
You can also get personalized snow globes , fridge maganets , key rings and wrapping paper from asda.
A book (if she likes reading)
Some gardening stuff , watering can , gloves, seeds , ect might be hard considering the time of year.
    Bath smellies
New nightdress or dressing gown ,
    hot water bottle
    candle
    socks
    slipper socks
    Nice mug
    Hot drinks she likes

Those are all i can think of right now?

How about getting her a session in a photography studio for the whole family?

I got a lovely L'Occitane hand creme set from Looks Fantastic for £20 and it's beautiful. If she likes gardening then hand creams will always come in handy.

You could also try a fruit basket.
