Boots.com 20% Discount for Baby Things

Does anybody know when this 20% plus double points offer is likely to finish? Spoke to .com helpline and they don't know, just said its been on for a while.

Really keen on the Quinny Buzz 3 and works out as quite a good deal at the moment on Boots.com but having 20 week scan on 31 December and would love the red set but obviously not such a good idea if it turns out to be a boy!

Has anybody got any ideas? Do I risk missing the offer or do I go for the offer but get the deal in black????

Any advice (or if you know anywhere that has a better deal) welcomed.

Thanks

Ann

    Sorry can't answer.
I wanted to let you know that you can return things up to 28 days after purchase if you change your mind though : as long as still in the packaging.
I returned a quinny and bought a different colour a while back without any hassle: returned it to my local store. Depends whether you think it's worth the hassle for the saving you'd get. I'd still have red with a boy but perhaps I'm odd.

Dont think it will carry on into Jan when they have their sale on but i really dont know tbh. If it is REALLY the pushchair you would like though, i would just get it in black and be on the safe side. Or you may get it in Red with another stores sale?
I agree with Kabie, i would put my son in a red buggy too :D
  • I see loads of wee boys in red buggies! But you might want to play safe and get the black, then after the scan you can either return it or buy a really funky cosy toes to suit either a boy or girl.

  • My six week old boy has a red loola up. We didnt know what sex he was and his older brother loves red so thats what we went for. Could you order both and send whichever one you dont want back? We ordered a Chicco from Mothercare initially and they sent me just a car seat which had to be returned as it was there mistake. They eventually sent the correct item but it was too pale (was supposed to be grey patterned with a bit of cream but there was more cream than grey) so I returned it with no problem whatsoever (apart from the poor delivery driver who had to lug a 6ft box in and out of our house).
  • Got our Quinny from a local independent store and we haggled on the price to beat any other offers.

Bought it in black and it looks great because it goes with any colour blankets etc.
  • I love my Quinny. It is the best pushchair I have bought ( I have had 4 !) Mine is in paciffic blue, a girly shade!! Both my boys have been in it! I would buy the red too.
