  • Try Amazon
2009 winnings: private box at the ballet, a cooking lesson with Jean Christophe Novelli, a case of wine, £25 itunes downloads, a candle, Football Manager PC game, a lipstick, £250
  • Thanks but I need it a lot cheaper than that!

  • I got a Simplehuman bin half price when I tried to reserve a non brand bin which was on offer in Argos and it was out of stock. The manager said because I had reserved it and the expected delivery hadn't arrived I could choose any 50 quid bin half-price.

Sometimes I've seen Amazon do special deals on Brabantia bins alot cheaper but doesn't seem to last long, they get snapped up. Maybe John Lewis might have some deals when they have their sale? Don't know where else you'd snap up a cheap one. Do you have any friends who work in any stores selling them like Next, sold in their home dept? They could 'buy' it for you with their staff discount and you could pay them back??
  • Amazon have indeed had some fantastic deals on them...I think the best was £21 last Christmas. I know others have done them for £30-£40.that would be great! Unfortunately I don't know anyone who works in any of these places.....

Looks like I'll need to wait till the sales, although I really wanted it here in time for all my Christmas visitors!

  • Bid TV or Price Drop TV sometimes have these on their lists
  • I would go for a Nastech bin. By touch I assume you mean sensor? These bins are as good quality as Brabantia.

I got mine from Amazon a few months back for £40. They tend to have a sale from time to time if you can wait?

Have you got a BHS near you?
I got a silver one a few weeks ago reduced to half price.
I got it on one of the 20% off days they do regularly in the run up to Christmas so it cost me less than £30 in the end.
