I got a letter today offering to resit my exam (DP didn't score high enough too but has found out the course wouldn't have counted anyway as he's got 120 points at level one on transfer so he's a bit grrr) I am just unsure if I even want to, I've thrown out all of the books aswell
in my clear out. I have however registered on the Exploring Science course, couldn't resist adding the Inclusive Education one aswell

well done with choosing your new courses, would a resit stress you out too much or are you at the stage of no harm trying?0 -
Right - was in Mozilla (ooh lets all panic...my mum said she's got Mozilla FF but wasn't sure if it was a browser...) but couldn't copy this so back to IE (and the thread's harder to read over there too!)
Happy Birthday Diva
Well done on the ECDL Toots...

PP happy holidays
nicki hope DD is better soon and that lump isn't too sore
jjef the problem is I was told if I failed the exam I wouldn't be able to resit as one score was missed so substitution used, so after I knew I haddn't answered enough correctly, I've thrown every book away. I'll consider it, I think I can download the books online, but I'd kind of switched off from it, I am suprised I got the score I did to be honest.
pigpen I was wondering the same as jjef, she sounds like a right piece of work that one
OJK hope you enjoy your relaxing evening
Well I might get to see my neice and nephew after all, they are going to my Mam's tomorrow so going to see them there. DS1s over the moon because he misses my neice, she doesn't really relate to him well any more, he doesn't understand she's not his little princess any more (which is what he called her) but she's always been his favourite. I'm pleased too, so much so there is tears streaming down my face (because I am happy not sad), I miss them loads. Presents are over Mam's anyway, she's annoyed me by avoiding telling me she was looking after them, she thinks I don't know she has them all the time but doesn't have my boys because they are more difficultI've always known, but if I can get to see them before xmas will be happy. I need to get my parents presents wrapped as he's said we can give them all the presents together. Funeral is going to be Christmas eve, not good but at least he's not being left anywhere over Christmas waiting for others to pay their respects. Everyone in my family is being really snappy at the minute, getting right on my nerves!
M&S seem to have made a mistake, my dispatch notice on the email for my recent order says the hat/glove sets are only £1 each not £10, but they have charged me delivery which is supposed to be free.....hmmm....best keep an eye on the credit card.
I've not managed to do the kitchen yet, not even touched it, went shopping with the boys after meeting Mam which was a bad idea, we were in there over 1 hour because of them being hard work, did gets some bits and peices of our Christmas shopping, things I always forget like brandy butter and some of the cheese I wanted, DP loves Cathedral City which is on offer, Magners cider for DP too (boy that stuffs expensive £ 'on offer' for 6 bottles!). Someones told me there is spaces online for grocery deliveries, might pop an order in to go with the rest I get fresh from the farm shop butchers, other farm shop and F&V shop. Forgot loo rolls, drats! Booo Asda is fully booked, Tesco have some up to the 20th....might do that one
Right, going to quickly whizz round the kitchen then bring the rest of the shopping in which is still in the car......hope you are all ok.... xxOne day I might be more organised...........

Hi Toots - I hadn't skimmed the thread - I had actually posted 'where I was' and not realised how long it was.
I have come to the conclusion though, having read the thread that I am a genetic mutation in possession of a rare gene - the iron shaped one. I never have an ironing mountain - occasionally a bit of a hill...I have ironed the load I washed and dried this morning - so the basket is empty again...
Ho hum. (And I do iron almost everything newbies - you will be instructed by Flower, upon her return from warmer climes, to ignore me as I am an aberration in the laundry dept but otherwise nice really...)
ONE DAY TO GO
night all!
BTW does anyone else use Firefox - how? It seems really fiddly...so I now have two browsers...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Ah quiet! All in bed, time to catch up and sort myself.
Ahh thanks boody
Pink Fairy thanks again. the tips on applying the drops meant less of a battle. Wish I had found it when I goggled earlier but glad that I know now.
MSD - Happy Birthday.
pigpen - sorry about your kitchen. I am impressed that you have kept going. Thanks it’s inspiring.
Soappie – my eyes are really bad they are pointy and bumpy. Glasses haven’t been able to help since I was about 15 when I started wearing rigid contacts. I have decluttered desk a little to pull the screen closer. Hope tomorrow is easier at work for you.
Toots – thanks I need to chill a bit. You are right about the work. It’s the same thing my HOD said but she’ll still check in for me. Then she mentioned the yr 9 mocks I haven’t finished marking, saying that she didn’t want to preasure me when I am not well but students have changed sets but mine. So will be doing HHM/HHC/HHM… in a mo. It may be a bit before I am as upbeat as you all but I can see it coming.
Today I spent a lot of time admiring my bathroom and feeling good about my achievement. The last time it was this clean was 6 m ago before DD was born and then it was done out of fear that we would get infections if it wasn’t immaculate or fear that well-wishers would need the loo. No admiration then but now I have done it just for doing it.The work will wait for you to finish showing the LOs the rainbow, but the rainbow would not wait for you to finish the work.0
