If she goes bankrupt she WILL be able to afford it. Her bank balance will shoot up quite quickly once a thick wedge of her income isn't being spent paying debts off.0

Who do you rent off Jane? Is it a private landlord or a housing association/council? Have you been taken to court for the arrears? Good luck with the SOA.BCSC # 9 and proud! :beer:0

Hi Jane,
Just to let you know you can post and rant on here as often as you need, there will always be love, support and advice from everyone on the forum.
Just take it one day at a time, I'm sure that it's unbelievably difficult for your husband to stop smoking right now in this time of great stress.
Look around in your area for the NHS stop smoking service, I'm sure they'll be able to help.
Keep your chin up and keep posting! You're always welcome here!

We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.

kevker wrote:Hi Jane130. If payplan advise bankruptcy, then that is probably the best option for you. From your post I would say that you took out the loan in good faith and were not trying to use the system. As long as you ca\n show that the money from the loan went towards essential bills and not a holiday, then the OR should be okay with this.0
