Are you allowed to sell wedding bits on here?

I don't want to do anything I am not allowed to - but I couldn't find a "for sale" section of the site and have lots of wedding bits other moneysavers may find useful. If someone can point me in the direction of where i am allowed to post them - I would be very greatful.
Thanks.

    It's a valid question, I think.

you should join some wedding forum or something - maybe they have for sale / wanted threads

    or fleabay?

incidentally - what are wedding bits?
  • oops! Thanks.

Does seem a bit silly though since this is a money saving forum and people save money by getting things they want/need secondhand! But I guess I understand since I could be a nigerian con artist who has inherited millions and needs you to help me release the funds?

Other wedding forums like Hitched have for sale forums (personally I think this one should too) so I will post there instead but I think I would much rather my stuff go to a cheap and cheerful moneysaver like me than some of the bridezillas I have come into contact with on there! Then again a sale is a sale! :)

    Thanks anyway.

This is not a for sale forum and neither would we want it to be - a lot of folks that use this forum are in debt because they over spend (e.g. they buy too much stuff).

If you want to sell your wedding stuff, I suggest that you use fleabay or other similar site or even take an advert out in your local free paper. Or...you could be even more generous and offer the items on freecycle:D

I wasn't trying to snipe. I've been on the site just over a year, and I wasn't sure if there was a "for sale" forum that I'd missed (I read the same 5-6 forums most every day).

To me, the LOL came across as suggesting that the question was stupid or silly.

  • Do you read minds too then? .
  • www.confetti.co.uk have a for sale section where i sold some of my wedding bits.

one thing ive struggled to sell is a wedding coat which thought would be easy to sell as took me ages to find one.

but then i know people say wedding dresses are hard to sell unless sell for peanuts on ebay.
