I'm after a weight bench and dumbbells

Where is the best place to buy a weight bench and a set of dumbbells  (that long bar with various weights on them) ? My OH was looking at a bench on Amazon and other thing from Argos.

Cost doesnt matter too much but would like good quality and value for money.

What websites offer cashback for this sort of purchase and is there any codes we can use to get money off ?

Thanks for advice (in advance)

  • theres places that take used stuff from commercial gyms and then sell it on . you can usually get refurbished benches of really good quality at about the same price as an inferior model from a high street and you can get a very good deal on a slightly warped bars and weight plates that have paint flaking off. if you buy a weightlifting mag you'll find these places advertised. you can ring them and get an honest answer about the condition of their stock saving you a wasted journey if your worried about buying second hand. the place i used a couple of years ago was in a small town called olne or something like that between skipton and the lake district. sorry cant remember the name of the firm but i think theres plenty of firms that are similar.

Good point, thanks, I forgot to mention that it would have to be delivery only as we have no transport at all.

looks a good deal for a fairly well equipped multi gym , which will keep you more motivated as theres so many different exercises to perform on it .
