Glasgow - cardboard recycling

I find myself with some unwanted cardboard boxes, unsuitable for freecycling - does anyone know where I can recycle these in Glasgow?

You certainly can get paid for recycling. I don't know what company you currently deal with, but they shouldn't be charging you to pick up recyclables, there are plenty of companies including ourselves Envirogreen Recycling that pay top prices for baled cardboard (OCC - old corrugated cardboard), paper (office paper, newspapers and magazines), aluminum cans, plastic film (shrink wrap) plastic bottles (PET bottles such as lemonade bottles and HDPE bottles such as milk bottles).
