Edge lit cards

http://www.evilmadscientist.com/article.php/edgelitcards

I just thought I would share this with everyone. They look great. I think I am going to have a bash at doing them.

I went into maplins and they had the LEDs also the battries but the bats are £2 each, which is a bit expensive. So does anyone know a cheap place to get the button battries?

Also getting the plastic for the front might be hard to track down, but I did have a thought of buying a cheap photo frame from a pound shop. But I may be able to get some from work. :D Also the clear part fom a CD case may work.

Is anyone else going to be trying these?

You can usually pick up a blisterpack card with a load of different sized button batteries in poundland and thoose type stores, the cards look interesting.

I've not seen 2032S in Poundland before...these are the ones about the size of a 2P piece - can someone tell me where they are likely to be, please?
