Lloyds TSB...again!

Hi, I know quite a few of us have hassle from Lloyds TSB and I'm hoping for some advice.

In October we had to make a lower DMP payment due to car repairs, all our creditors accepted this except Lloyds who have been pestering us with calls and letters ever since. After speaking to a couple of really rude people one of whom denied any knowledge of our DMP and stated they didn't deal with Payplan  my OH told them on the phone last week he would now communicate in writing only. Today we received a letter asking us to phone them, this is my reply (the letter does include all the account details but I've removed them for here).

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have received a letter dated 8th December 2008 requesting that I telephone you to discuss my account. Each time I speak to your employees by telephone they deny knowledge of any previous communications and therefore I wish all future communication with your company to be in writing only.

For any information you may require I refer you to my letters dated 25th September 2008, 29th October 2008, 7th November 2008, 24th November 2008, and also to the information on our income and expenditure already provided to you by Payplan on 25th September 2008, 14th October 2008 and 25th November 2008.

Yours faithfully,

Is there anything else I can do? Anywhere else I should be sending letters to? I have never had a reply to any of the letters I have sent, just the same computer generated requests to contact them.

Thanks in advance,
Sam,
x.

Contact Payplan before you send it, if you are with them they may want to handle it, if they are happy for you to send it... send the letter and send a copy to Payplan too!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    Thanks Linda,

I've been copying Payplan in on all the letters and they have contacted Lloyds 3 times that I know of. Lloyds just ignore us both and keep asking for the same information over and over again.

    It's very frustrating  .

It's a constant battle- keep going - and keep posting on here for support and advice.
Stick to your guns about not dealing with them over the phone.

Are the letters sent registered post so you can be sure they arrived?
Keep an accurate diary logging all correspondence with your creditors and Payplan including letters sent & received, phone calls and EVERYTHING.

Sam, i think you are doing the right thing with that letter - the only amendment i would make is to state that you have already requested that all communication be in writing and that you have been making payments to them through Payplan.

Hopefully once that is on file and in writing you will not get stupid comments back about them not dealing with Payplan.

Thanks George, I'll add that in.

They really are a bunch of stupid bullies and normally I can laugh at their incompetence. For some reason they got to me today  .

Just posting on here, and reading other posts, has reminded me I'm not alone in this debt busting lark and I'm more cheerful again :D .

    Thanks,
