i had quite an argument with the staff in my local adams yesterday!!!!!!!!!
BIG sign on window says 50% off EVERYTHING!!!!! ( 4 ft high sign)

not up to not selected lines, not little starts or anything!!!!
spend quite a while picking out 6 tops for my boys to get to the counter and for them to ring them through at full price!!!! i explained and the lady tried tellingme that behind the counter the sign clearly says "SELECTED LINES"

I agree - totally misleading to see such a big sign "50% off EVERYTHING" only to be told by the cashier that it actually applies to "selected Sale items" I was also miffed at being charged full price. :mad:

i didnt get my items in the end, i wasnt going to pay full price for something that was very clearly labelled as half price!!!!

i emailed trading standards later in the day and i got an email back from them saying that they are looking into it!!!!:beer:
