i just rang zavvi,they said they are giving the 10% off for virgin customers,but not on bunddled products,,so on say a ps3 only console you get the discount,but no on the ps3 bundled with little big planet.

I dont think its such a good deal now,the 80gb ps3 is £269.99 - 10% virgin £242.99 then ive to add a game to play.

£289 form play delivered with 3 games..wish play had some discount codes

ok so i rang back the store and this time spoke to another member of staff

i rang to ask if the £269 inc the new 15% vat rate,which it doesnt,he said i will get the 2.5% at the till,and then said will i still be able to get my virgin 10% to,,as i said a member of staff said i can,he said ive been told wrong i there not allowing the virgin 10%

so one said they are and one said there not,,baffles me why staff are not told

Click the "help" at bottom of screen - then the discounts button - read about Virgin. Try and find a head office tel no and ask as they dont trade online can you use it in store.

I rang arndale and trafford store,they double checked and saif it is honoured.

so i rang the manager at lowery centre (dave) and told him,,he said he will ring the stores and and double check with them.

he rang me back and said cause them stores have so many staff the email sent out (regarding not to give 10%)has not been read by everyone,and that them stores have now told him they are not allowed to give it,and that they have not read the emails.

but ill also do what you said thanks :T

Saw the £40 XBox 360 Wireless Adapter instore tonight and rushed home to post - but got beaten to it:(
There are some fantastic deals in there, not least the XBox Arcade for less than £98!!
Zavvi must be REALLY feeling the pain of not being able to sell online, and some of their stock on shelf looked like it was running out - I couldn't find any World of Warcraft games at all in the Milton Keynes store tonight.
