help! best way to transfer money from german account

Hi looking for some help and advice on this one.
just landed myself a job out in germany and the extra money im earning i want to use to pay off some debts and mortgage.
ive set up a german bank account because i was spending 30 pound a mth takin money out on my uk card.
ill be coming back to the uk around 6-8wks for a wkend at a time.
i was wondering what the best choice was for me to bring money back???
should i transfer electronically or take the money back with me and get it changed n the uk?
if so wheres the best place to exchange my euros?
im not taking massives amounts back just enough each tim to cover my uk expenses.
be grateful of any help and advice

It might be better to to post this on the bank account pages. Thay may be able to give you a better answer.

is it sparky or commercebank ?
if its sparky they will give you card just use it over here decent charges I think commercebank get them to transfer it to uk
opps sparky is of course sparkasse
of course with spakry you can use on line transfer just like using a uk account on line
on line banking in german is the same as here
