I would check online at offer of the day. This site has the best deals from major retailers. I have noticed great buys for oens, coker hoods etc so i would try there.
thanks

i've used kitchen science .... best deal was there after checking around the various comparison sites .
It's owned by Comet !!
Most of the cashback sites offer 4% .. ( quidco don't seem to have deal currently )
kitchen science website seems to have 5% discount code off cookers as well at the mo.0 -

Or try Freecycle for one to see you through Xmas.
Could be worse - my parents cooker died on the 23rd Dec a few years ago. Couldn't get it replaced or repaired in time so we cooked the turkey back at my flat on Christmas Eve - 100mile round trip and a wait of 5/6 hours and then cooked the veg all on the separate (woring) hob on Xmas Day!0 -
The same happened to me two years ago with my built in fan assisted oven. I got a repair man from a local electrical shop to come out and he replaced a part (I think it was an element) for 50 pounds including labour. Its worked fine ever since. Perhaps it might be worthwhile looking at the possibility of repair?0
