I am not authorised to let people know on HDUK what exactly is happening with the vouchers, no final decision has been made, and things will take time contacting amazon and facebook about cancelling vouchers and checking IP adresses.

This message was soley ment for one individual on here who has acted fraudulently against our company. With the reaction from many others, this is better left as it is.

Please understand we will not be issuing any vouchers today and the part on facebook which tells you how many items you need to add to claim a voucher has been taken down.

to be honest I am not sure what anyone can do - without any terms and conditions people abused an offer, terms and conditions would have sorted this

Presumably you'll also be compensating facebook and amazon for the fines they'll get for breaching the data protection act were they to release any ip addresses or any other data.

If you are genuine, which I seriously doubt, I would seriously advise you to impose some terms and conditions and/or limit the promotion to one user on your site and facebook should you run any promotions like this in the future (limiting by IP address would discriminate against people with dynamic IPs)

why would amazon try to take back the vouchers? They would probably have a set amount of vouchers to give out and they would have given them all out whether people abuse the system or not. So why would they care?

yeh I agree, what some have done may be morally wrong but there were no terms and conditions, Multiple facebook accounts is against facebook rules and they will delete your account if they find out. But without having any terms or conditions there is nothing that can be done

Exactly!!! thats the whole point of this......He's an idiot, and we are all keeping him very happy by responding to him.... sad case or what?
