It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
  • Well done! You've taken the first step, so can only get better form here!

I looked at my debts properly in Dec and was pretty shocked at what i owed ( you can see in my signature).

But after reading and posting on this board, i cut back on lots of things, cancelled things i dont need/use/want etc and paid as much as i could of towards my debt.

You can see how much i've managed to bring it down by already, i know that isnt going to happen every month but at least its going down and not up - which is what would of happened if i hadn't of faced up to it all

Like most people, I bet it was a bit of a shock. Still, admittance of a problem is the first step on the road to recovery.

The second step is to post a statement of affairs here so that us lot can support you in your battle against debt. Give us the details and before you know it you'll have a plan of action on how to eliminate the debt in a short a time as possible. Then you can start to smile again (instead of that nasty frown)

if it hadn't been for all the positive advice on here from people who know exactly what you are going through we wouldn't have faced our problems.

we haven't posted our soa but we have told people on our thread what our debt is. if you can let people know what your soa is it is easier for them to help you
