redundancy and pressure to meet 30 day consultation period

Pressure to meet 30 day consultation deadline I am 36 1/2 weeks pregnant and currently having to have frequent tests at the local hospital due to high blood pressure, protein etc. My first meeting was 4th December to discuss my "provisional redundancy". I managed to postpone a second meeting 2 days later as I was unwell and the day afterwards ended up in hospital with aggrevated blood pressure problems. I requested a rearranged second meeting but my union rep is now asking that I submit my suggestion for alternative employment - no mention of a second meeting has been mentioned even though I have requested it in writing and submitted available dates.

Am I within my rights to insist on a second face to face meeting so that I can submit my proposal ?

Furthermore although a 30 day consultation period was agreed between the union and my employer, my employer did not write to me concerning redundancies until 5 days after everyone else. Does this mean therefore that they cannot make me redundant until I have had the 30 days consultation like everyone else?

I have a feeling they will try and turn around my suggestion in a day, refuse it and make me redundant so basically I wont have had a 30 day consultation period like the other employees.

If I appeal does this mean they cannot make me redundant until my appeal has been heard by a more senior manager?
