    If your IFA is scamming you and trousing your dosh instead of investing it -
    ALWAYS go commission rather than a fee - that way he pays for the advice! :D

    I love the fact you think its so simple...maybe your finances are simple, but get someone who has a large amount to invest, inheritance tax to worry about, income drawdown and long term care it all gets complicated. Then you wont be able to just say 'put it in an ISA' lke you always do on here.

    Plus not everyone wants to read for 5 days to find out about the best product for them, without any of the tools and knowledge an IFA has. I can see from your 12000 + posts you obviously have more time than most people.
