No bank charges at the moment

Just a quick one, I wrote to my bank a month ago and said i was under financial hardship (higlighted the bits that fitted me on the Banking code) and sent them my SOA and asked for help/suggestions - as a result they appear to have agreed for the time being to stop charging me for failed direct debits as i received a letter regarding a rejected direct debt and it said "under your current circumstances you will not be charged for this failure"..now i have been with them a long time but i was surprised, apparently if you class as hardship they are ment to assist you as much as possible so maybe this is an option for everyone else - thought i'd mention it as for some of you although u might still get charged by the company you were ment to pay if the bank is not charging you it will help.

might pay you to write and ask...
