conaught collections sent me a letter 2 months ago saying i owed 1374.3
i asked for proof etc that i owed this money
this morning i recieve aletter saying
please find the enclosed information as requested
should you wish to avoid further action being taken against you payment must be made in full and sent to this offer within 7 days
and then some info about what theyll do if i dont
1. if i took as long to reply as them it would be february march time
2. the proof the debt is mine they sent me are 3 copy statements from 3 months in 2006 ..
i dont know about you but this does not proove the debt is mine just that someone used the card during this time ..
what should i send them next ????

Send them a CCA request, download the template at www.nationaldebtline.co.uk , follow the instructions therein, send a PO not a cheque. Do not sign the letter with your signature, they could 'lift; it and apply it to a blank Agreement!
