4ft Real potted Christmas tree £4.99 at Focus

Potted Christmas tree marked at £12.99 which I already thought was a good price but went through the till at £4.99 at Focus today.
SA said they had just been reduced.
I particularly wanted a potted one to try to transplant it in the garden after
christmas, but they also had chopped off trees - some much larger.
They were also less than half price too.

This is good. I would like another real tree as we haven't had one for a while and it would be nice outside the house. Won't buy cut trees as it seems a terrible waste (but not debating that here!).

    Good spot - thanks.

  • i popped into Focus in Derby yesterday looking for a potted tree.

they were all marked at 25% off but there were only a few & they were pretty tatty looking!

a lot of the xmas lights on display (i use the term loosely as it was just a small tent!), all had notices saying 'last of stock, ask a store member for assistance'.

it actually looked like half the store was missing, it was just empty space in one section. pretty odd time of the year for them to changing displays around.

According to the Newspaper thread on here ,there is a voucher for 50% off
real Cristmas trees in many of the daily papers today.
I don't know if they would let you have both discounts, but that would make my tree £2.50 which must be the bargain of the season!
There were loads left at the Focus I went to and most of them were good trees.
Mine looks lovely with it's decorations on.
I do love the real thing!

what papers and what stores are half price please
  • Daily Mail has a token for £5 off a £30 spend on Christmas goods only. Strikes me thats a lot to spend on Christmas goodies by this time in the season, especially if it's all half price anyway.

Token's on Page 43 by the way.

I went into my local Focus yesterday and thought exactly the same thing! Nothing at all had a price on. Didnt want to pick anything up in case it was expensive. I asked the man when they were putting prices on and he said 2mora! Well that lost them my custom. Rather odd I thought!

We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

Thanks for this, was thinking of getting a potted tree to put outside by the front door with some lights on but they all seemed too expensive
  • Went into focus today and the onl potted trees were £12.99 or £18.99. (3ft & 4ft) Very tatty looking. The unpotted ones were £30.00. (about 5 ft) No reductions at all.
