yougov focus online focus group

I got invited to a focus group weekend in London in Jan 2010 but it didn't say how much time commitment they needed and what they were paying (aside from travel and hotel). I declined as I wasn't available on the dates in question.
That was just an invite from them, it may have been based on my profile info or answers to a previous survey.

I was invited to this too, Nixer. I found myself being talked into it, despite not getting any firm answers about what's actually involved other than 'general discussion'. I emailed asking for further details before they post me my train tickets but haven't heard back yet... Is anyone else going to this?

I am also trying to get them to tell me why my log in details for my account don't work any more. Have emailed several times and nothing.

I've also heard of them shutting other people's accounts even when like me they have done tonnes of surveys.

I have been chasing yougov for £25 since september for participating in online forum.All my emails have been ignored.
