Went to their website to order The Dark Knight and got this message “We are currently experiencing supply problems and have temporarily suspended orders until the supply situation is resolved”

Sad to say but it's like dominoes, don't want to scare monger but it seems it's a fact of life that anyone connected with Woolies or the Kingfisher group who owned WOOLIES, [FONT=Arial, Helvetica]B&Q, Superdrug, Comet and Screwfix I think, could be at risk, it's a sad sad time.

as edinburghlass says, it is purely a problem with there supplier, they were supplied by EUK which where owned by woolies, but as being as they are in administration they cannot supply anymore, or not as much as morrisons still get the odd delivery of books from them, so zavvi are not goiing bust, mind you they will need to find another supplier pretty sharpish or they may be in trouble, cause if they got nothing to sell then they are not going to be in buisness for much longer, DaveTake every day as it comes!!0

Yes all true of course but the papers are reporting that Zavvi owes £100million to Entertainment UK — Woolworths’ CD and DVD wholesale distribution arm and now that it's gone into administration the creditors will want their money asap, I'm getting this all from online sources which are usually reliable like Sky, the independant, the sun, the mail, etc and so on and so forth. I am only concerned that is all. Apparently though Richard Branson may bail out Zavvi as the former Virgin owner.

Be careful, these companies are no longer connected!0 -
Zavvi are simply negotiating a new supplier, they haven't gone bust. Zavvi used to be supplied by Entertainment UK, who were owned by Woolworth's. Other compnaies supplied by E-UK are Tesco, Morrison's Asda and WH Smith's...so all could be experiencing supply problems. All of them will soon find new suppliers and it will be back to business as usual. We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0
